‘Person of the Year’ and Young Climate Activist Greta Thunberg joins calls to junk anti-terrorism law

Greta Thunberg’s “Person of the Year” in 2019 joined Greta Thunberg in calling for the abolition of the recent Anti-Terrorism Law.

“Please support climate activists in the Philippines! #JunkTerrorLaw, ”tweeted a 17-year-old climate activist with a video of the FridaysForFuture group saying“ Junk Terror Law ”.

According to FridaysForFuture, they stand for climate activists in the Philippines because climate activists and environmental defenders are threatened with being labeled terrorists because of the Anti-Terrorism Law.

“We stand in solidarity with climate activists in the Philippines Flag of Philippines The Anti-Terror law puts climate activists and environmental defenders at risk of being tagged as terrorists.
