The Philippines has secured 25 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said, out of the said total, 50,000 doses are among the first batch expected to arrive in the country next month.
The other batch will arrive in the coming months and is expected to complete 25 million doses by December.
In relation to other vaccines from other pharmaceutical companies, Sec. Roque said that in June the vaccine is expected to arrive from Pfizer while in July it will be from AstraZeneca.
