There are nearly 9,000 cases of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines.
According to the Department of Health’s latest update (DoH), the number of viruses in the country has dropped to 8,928.
It has increased by 156 over the past 24 hours.
The death toll was also high at 24 and a total of 603. Still good news as there are 40 new recoveries today and a total of 1,124 have been cured of the disease.
