“Through Night and Day” can be said to be one of the best Filipino movies this year. This is the very concept of Alessandra De Rossi, who is also the star of the film.
“Through Night and Day” was released in theaters on November 14 but until now the effect has remained on our hearts because of this film.
The story begins in Baguio where Jennifer (Alessandra De Rossi) and Ben (Paolo Contis) have been childhood sweethearts and have been in a relationship for 13 years.
Ben proposes marriage to Jennifer and as a gift, they will fly to Iceland which Jennifer loves to visit.
Jennifer plans to make a Pre-Nup video there.
Their relationships can be tested because of their ways and reach. How far can they sacrifice for each other?
Alessandra started writing the concept of “Through Night and Day” but due to lack of time she asked her friend Noreen Capili to help.
She even flew to Iceland to do the story but because she was still doing the teleserye “Since I Found You” she lost time to finish the script.
According to Alessandra, “When I went there, it was snowing so hard, and everything was just white. And at the time, I was also doing a television series (“Since I Found You”), and I was taping every other day. I could only manage about 10 sequences. ”
Award-winning director Veronica B. Velasco (Mother Nanny, Dear Other Self) directed the film. The show really showed the beauty of Baguio and Iceland.
The timing of the show is light and accurate when it comes to comedy but when it comes to dramatic scenes it will really break the heart of the viewer.
