Officials of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) involved in alleged corruption within the agency should be suspended.
This is the recommendation of Vice President Leni Robredo, amidst the growing issues of corruption in the state health insurance fund.
For the vice president, the authorities will suspend the opportunity to focus the investigation on the allegation.
“Ganoon naman iyong nangyayari, ‘di ba? Kapag may ongoing investigations, iyong mga people responsible ay dapat sana ma-suspend muna, para hindi ma-compromise iyong integrity ng investigations,”VP Leni said in her weekly radio show.
“Sana iyon ‘yung gawin to show na seryoso tayo na sugpuin ang corruption. Kasi yung may hawak ng dokumento nandyan pa.”

“Eh diba meron tayong mga anti-corruption bodies, diba dapat ito yung mga naaamoy nila? Na hindi na dapat hinihintay na lumala pa yung sitwasyon?”
Their chairman and CEO, retired B / Gen. Ricardo Morales approved the endorsement of the anomalous budget for IT equipment and software.
President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered an investigation through the “Task Force PhilHealth”.
