Some Catholic Church officials continue to call on believers to still adhere to the minimum health protocols implemented when attending mass.

This is even though the government has made 50 percent of the capacity of attendees at each mass since February 15.

Father Jerome Secillano told the public affairs committee of the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), not to be confident as long as it is during the pandemic.

It still explains that it is important to attend mass because it is one of the effective ways to end COVID-19.

It will be recalled that in addition to increasing the number of attendees, the government will open some businesses such as cinemas, museums, tourist spots and parks to recover the economy.
