The Supreme Court (SC), which stands for Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), rejected the poll protest of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo.
SC Spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka said the magistrates ‘decision in Marcos’ protest against the vice president was unanimous.
15 magistrates were present at today’s en banc session and seven fully councurred or agreed to the dismissal and eight to the result.
Hosaka did not name the ponente or write the decision.
Marcos’ protest is rooted in the alleged irregularities of the 2016 election.
