Senate Bill 2057 or Covid Vaccination Program Bill has passed the third and final reading in the Senate.
According to Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, 22 members of the House voted in favor of the bill, without opposition and without abstaining.
The purpose of this measure is to ensure the proper purchase, distribution, vaccination and monitoring of those who can be given the COVID vaccine.
The senators believe that with the passage of the proposal, the procurement process will also be expedited to start injecting those on the priority list.
Earlier, senators’ amendments to each line of the proposal were meticulous.
Senate President Pro-Tempore Ralph Recto last proposed for the very name of the bill, after some changes he proposed.
