Quirino Grandstand COVID-19 drive thru testing center

Even before noon today, mass testing was immediately completed at the COVID-19 drive thru testing center at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park, Manila.

Today, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno inaugurated the second mass testing center for a free COVID test.

It is said that earlier, many vehicles lined up to take blood samples.

Before today’s quota, more than 400 vehicles were waiting in line.

Mayor Isko once again assured that even if he is not from Manila, the drive through testing is free and it is open not only to private cars but also to tricycles, pedicabs, motorcycles and bikes.

There are also lanes in the area to separate only those who ride bikes from those in cars.

The first drive thru testing site at the Andres Bonifacio Monument near the city hall opened on Wednesday.

Viva Filipinas noticed that some of the queues came from other places, because they said they needed the result of their work.

A man named Leo who lined up on a bike only said that he had not been able to work for two weeks because he needed certification that he was negative for coronavirus.

The two drive thru testing sites serve from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It is said that within 24 hours they will receive the result of the COVID test.
