Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos is inhibiting one of the justices of the Supreme Court in his pending election protest against Vice President Leni Robredo.
Marcos personally went to the Supreme Court (SC) to file his Strong Manifestion with Extremely Urgent Omnibus Motion.
In the motion, Marcos wants Associate Justice Marvic Leonen to inhibit.
That is, Marcos wants Leonen not to participate in all the proceedings or hearings of his protest.
According to Marcos, Leonen has a well-documented bias against him and his family.
Leonen also allegedly just sat down for the poll protest.
Marcos also asked the SC, the current Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) to ruffle the case and resolve all pending incidents related to the protest.
Marcos did not give an interview.
Marcos was defeated by Robredo in the last 2016 vice presidential race.
But according to Marcos, it was questionable so he filed an election protest.
So far, Marcos’ protest against Robredo has been going on for four years and nine months.
