“The attention of PICE [Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers] was called by numerous civil engineering students who took the recent Civil Engineering Licensure Examination administered by the PRBOCE [Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering] on 14-15 November 2021 to issues/concens that they encountered during the conduct of said examination. Reports received by PICE that there are questions in the questionnaire with typographical errors and technical errors in the software being used in the examinations. The examinees were not able to arrive at the correct computations and answers because of such technical and typographical errors,” PICE said in a statement.
PICE recommends to the PRBOCE that any answer to the questions that were affected by the typographical error or technical errors should be given full credit (bonus point).
