The Department of Education (DepEd) has begun an investigation into a public school teacher who posted on social media that it would give P50-million to anyone who killed President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to DepEd Usec. Josephine Maribojoc, this is part of the process for the possible filing of an administrative lawsuit against teacher Ronnel Mas.
The principal is now conducting an investigation and action. Teacher Mas teaches at Taltal National High School in the town of Masinloc, Zambales.
Maribojoc assured the department that their investigation will be fair.
Currently, Mas remains in custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after being arrested yesterday.
