President Rodrig Duterte has appointed former NBI chief Dante Gierran as the new Philhealth chief.
Senator Bong Go confirmed Gierran’s appointment.
Gierran will replace the resigned Ricardo Morales.
It will be recalled that Morales is facing an investigation due to widespread corruption.
