Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles who has been “approved in principle” by the Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of the Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) to ease the outbound travel restriction on Filipinos who want to be with their foreign partners or loved ones.

Sec. Nograles, who is also the co-chairman of the IATF, is just adjusting the details for easing travel restrictions.

According to Sec. Nograles, the IATF is now in contact with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Immigration (BI), airline companies and host countries to ensure that testing and health protocols are followed.

He said it is necessary to ensure that our country does not send COVID-19 positive.

Sec. Nograles is just a little patient and the IATF is still working on the details.
