Brazillian volleyball superstar Leila Barros, the current Brazilian senator, is confident that her recovery will be quick after being hit by Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a statement posted by Barros on her Instagram account, the three-time World Grand Prix champion and two-time Olympic bronze medalist said she tested positive in the real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) test.
Barros, who became the head turner among Filipino volleyball fans at the World Grand Prix held in 2000 here in the country, allegedly had a fever and his body hurt.
But based on the imaging exams, there is no change in Barros’ lungs.
