CEBU CITY – The beauty pageant of the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines has begun through the preliminary competition.
The 46 candidates from different cities and provinces in the Philippines gathered yesterday at the Baguio Country Club to compete in different competitions.
Still, the women rapped on their national costumes, swimsuit, and evening gown.
While preliminary interviews with candidates were first held the other day.
This is to determine who will enter the Final 15 who will march during the coronation day on October 25 in Baguio City.
While waiting for the final walk of Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, she is wearing a black gown made by Cary Santiago.

- Miss Cream Silk – Pauline Amelinckx, Bohol Miss MG Philippines – Michele Gumabao, Quezon City
- Downy Sweetheart Award – Pauline Amelinckx, Bohol
- Miss Cetaphil Sun – Pauline Amelinckx, Bohol
- Best in National Costume – Lou Dominique Piczon, Mandaue
- Miss Photogenic – Tracy Maureen Perez, Cebu City
- Most Beautiful Face Award – Pauline Amelinckx, Bohol
- Best in Swimsuit – Rabiya Mateo, Iloilo City
- Best in Evening Gown – Maria Ysabella Ysmael, Parañaque
