NBA great Patrick Ewing is recovering at home after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Last week the 57-year-old Hall of Famer was rushed to the hospital after it was announced that he had been contributing to the infectious disease.
According to her son Patrick Jr., his father’s health continued to improve.
The family thanked all the hospital staff who cared for the former New York Knicks star, as well as his fans who offered prayers for their healing.
“My father is now home and getting better. We won’t continue to watch his symptoms and follow the CDC guidelines. I hope everyone continues to stay safe and protect yourselves and your loved ones. ”
Ewing was a member of the so-called “Dream Team” who bagged the gold medal at the 1992 Olympics.
