From 1,301 yesterday, there are only 1,085 cases of new Coronavirus Disease (COVID) in the country this Sunday.
According to the Department of Health (DOH) at 4:00 pm, the total number of people infected with the deadly virus in the Philippines has risen to 449,400.
Most of the new COVID cases are from Quezon City with 103, followed by Rizal with 46, Makati with 44, Manila with 43, and Pasig with 39.
Under the weekly “Oplan Recovery,” the DOH reported 9,269 new recoveries, of which 418,687 have been recovered from COVID.
The total death toll is 8,733, but only three died today, which is said to be the lowest death toll record since July 21.
