Malacañang is very pleased with the latest results of the Pulse Asia survey which shows that the Filipinos have an approval rating of 91 percent to President Rodrigo Duterte amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Its survey was conducted only September 14 to 20 and it is higher compared to 87 percent recorded last year in the same month.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said they are grateful for this trust from the public.
According to Sec. Roque, the survey shows that Filipinos see President Duterte doing everything for the people in the midst of the pandemic.
It is said that President Duterte’s real promise is to lift everyone out of the hardship caused by the pandemic, whether he is a supporter or not.
Sec. Roque that the public also sees that President Duterte is not politicizing at this time and the chief executive calls on his fellow politicians to put aside politics first and help in the country’s fight against COVID-19.
