Sorsogon contestant Maria Isabela Galeria immediately jumped into the pre pageant activity of Miss Universe Philippines.
This follows her recovery after being hit by coronavirus disease (COVID) which she herself confirmed earlier, in conjunction with the 14-day quarantine period.
The 22-year-old Galeria was among those who received a certificate from the Sorsogon Provincial Information Office stating that she was negative for the virus.
Galeria is an active nurse in their hometown of Bicol and is said to be one of the favorite winners of the first ever Miss Universe Philippines to be held on October 25 at the MOA Arena.
According to a report by Viva Filipinas, Sorsogon bet on the Top 15 of the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 pageant and will once again try to win the Miss Universe Philippines title in the finals night.
