Devotees ignore the water inside the church of San Rafael Parish in Macabebe town, Pampanga as they say mass in commemoration of the feast of their patron Saint Rafael.
The floodwaters in the church were more than a foot high due to the continuous rain. Although the area is often flooded, it is said that this is the first time that the inside of the church has been flooded, which coincides with their parish according to the parish.
Today, it is said that the mass will continue to be held even though the church is still flooded. Its capacity is still limited to 50% while the province of Pampanga is still in MGCQ.
