MANILA – Fire engulfed a plane on the runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday.
Sources said a Lion Air Westwind ambulance aircraft caught fire on take off.
Renvil Perez, an eyewitness, was able to film the incident from near the NAIA area.
According to the Manila International Airport Authority Media Affairs, there was an incident at NAIA and that a plane requested emergency assistance, but the agency did not give further details.
