‘Worst floodings’ occurred in Cagayan
The governor of Cagayan province now considers the worst flooding in their area.
In an interview with Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba, he said that in the last 15 years it has been the “worst floodings.”
Last year there were also floods but it is not like today that typhoon Rolly passed by and was followed by the release of water from the Magat Dam.
The dam is in part of Ifugao and Isabela.
Due to this, it is said that the roads to Isabela and some national highways towards the Ilocos region will no longer be passable.
Up to 23 towns comprising 135 barangays were also affected by the floods.

About 40,000 individuals were also affected of which 10,000 were in evacuation centers.
Other than that, others prefer to stay at the house of their acquaintances and relatives first.
“I have been governor for 15 years and this is the worst. We have the same last year, ”said Gov. Mamba sa Bombo Radyo. “Our perennial problem is flooding.”
