MANILA – Philippine bet Michelle Dee donned a Francis Libiran creation for the national costume shoot of Miss World 2019 in London.
Michelle Dee’s is all praises for Libiran’s creation, saying: “Of course, Francis Libiran has awed us all once more with this gorgeous Filipiniana.”
“His national costume designs are always my favorite,” she added.
The terno, by designer Francis Libiran is a “symbolic work of art and labor of love,” according to the description provided by the Aces and Queens Instagram page. Aces and Queens is the beauty camp which Michelle trained under.
Rodriguez is hoping to bring home the crown in the Miss World 2019 pageant set on December 14.
Other beauty queens who have worn Libiran’s gowns in pageants include Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray.
Meanwhile, fans can continue to vote for Michelle via Mobstar or through the Miss World website, which will give a chance to move on the next round of the competition.
Pageant night is on December 14 in London (December 14, at around 10 pm Philippine time).
