‘My social media post,’ honest mistake ‘- Mocha Uson

Just In: Facebook takes down ‘Mocha Uson Blog’

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson said today about the alleged complaint over the spread of fake news.

In a media interview with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Uson said she posted “honest mistake” on social media.

The issue stemmed from Uson’s posting on social media of personal protective equipments (PPEs) allegedly purchased by the Department of Health (DoH) but was actually donated by a private company.

Uson said she only wants the public to know that the government has not neglected health workers and frontliners in the wake of the fight against Coronavirus disease 2109 (COVID-19).

Uson said she shared the good news on social media and that he had used pictures from the mainstream media.

However, the print media in the photo also made a mistake.

Uson admitted that she also made a mistake in using the picture and apologized immediately.

Uson was not surprised by the complaint against her and in fact she went to the NBI today to explain.
