Of the 70 Yes votes, 11 No, 2 inhibitors, and 1 abstain, members and ex-officio members of the committee approved the resolution stating that ABS-CBN should not be given a franchise.
The decision was made after the committee held a 12-day hearing with the House committee on good government and public accountability.
